Over the past two decades, I’ve managed a wide variety of corporate sustainability and environmental management projects for Fortune 500 corporations, NGOs, and government agencies.  My educational background includes an MBA in Natural Resource & Environmental Management from the University of Texas at Austin, an MS in Biology from Creighton University, a BS in Biology from the University of Notre Dame, Sustainability Reporting Certification from GRI, and Project Management Professional Certification since 2005.  My background also includes extensive international experience: I’ve traveled to 100 countries and conducted business in 22 of those countries.

I would love to have the opportunity to provide your organization with support for any training, project management, or technical writing needs that you may have.  No project is too small.  I charge very reasonable rates (much cheaper than typical consulting firms), and I do all of the work myself.  Below you will find a summary of the services that I provide.

Profitable Conservation Training

I will provide a 30-minute to 3-hour presentation or workshop on the topic of “Profitable Conservation: Business Strategies That Boost Your Bottom Line, Protect Wildlife, and Conserve Biodiversity”.  I offer both videoconference and on-site training.  My goal is to have attendees walk away with practical, actionable business strategies that have a positive ROI for your business and also benefit biodiversity and wildlife.

Profitable Conservation Audit to Improve the Biodiversity Section of Your CSR

I will conduct a “Profitable Conservation Audit” that includes a gap analysis of your existing biodiversity and wildlife conservation strategies against industry best practices.  I will then create a list of suggested edits to the biodiversity section of your existing CSR or create a revised draft of the biodiversity section of your CSR using GRI, SASB, and/or IIRC guidance.

Project Management and Technical Writing Support

I will help you create and maintain project charters, project plans (MS Project, Workfront, Smartsheet, Basecamp, and Jira), RAID logs, project closure documentation, policies & procedures, website content, or process documentation.  As you can see from my book, Profitable Conservation, I enjoy distilling technical concepts into simple terms that anyone can understand.

I stand behind the quality of my work with a money back guarantee: If you’re not satisfied with my work for any reason, then you don’t pay for my time.

I’m committed to providing real value for your organization by helping you identify and implement practical, actionable strategies that will have a positive ROI for your organization while protecting biodiversity and wildlife.

If any of this sounds appealing, and your company is interested in learning more about profitable conservation strategies that are good for your business and good for biodiversity and wildlife, our next step is to book a free 30-minute consultation.  I can be reached at 505-977-7878, mark@profitableconservation.com, or you can fill out the consultation request form below.

Thank you very much for your time and consideration and I hope to hear from you soon!
